The Best 5 Words I Could Hear (As a Writer)

No froofy long-winded intro here. A friend sent me this amidst a string of key-smash gibberish when I sent her an excerpt of a work in progress recently:

“I forgot I was reading!”

I don’t want my readers to have to think while they’re reading (for the most part). I want them to feel; to experience; to taste; hear. I want them to be immersed. I didn’t realize until last night how much that one sentence communicated all of that.
