What if my name was Rei Don? Ray’Donna? La Reida? Do those variations wave a familiar flag, something one can ethnically identify? If you could put a face to those names, would it include my fair skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes?
Some people — probably more than some considering we have entire cultural norms around it — need to prepare for changes they want to make in their lives if they want to make them at all. And some who don’t care what specific date they do that are ready to do that without waiting. Both are great approaches as long as individuals feel secure in doing it.
I know the cool thing to do with mailing lists is to make them salesy and gimmicky and promise you stuff, but I'm not there yet. Really it's just a semi-monthly digest of what I've been up to. That's it! So whaddya say?
